Natural Moisturizing Callus Butter is specially-designed for difficult heel fissures and hard, cracked calluses that need the combined power of cocoa butter, beeswax, organic sunflower oil, and organic coconut oil in one all-natural stick for effective removal. When used regularly, Natural Moisturizing Callus Butter softens and treats the toughest of calluses.

Directions for use: Be sure feet are clean and dry before use. Use a callus file or pumice stone to debride superficial callus prior to the application of Natural Moisturizing Callus Butter. For best results, cover the feet with socks to maintain the soothing, moisturizing effect.

Indications: Natural Moisturizing Callus Butter is all-natural callus remover cream used in the treatment of corns and calluses, cracked heels, dry skin, heel fissures, and callus and forefoot fissures. Natural Moisturizing Callus Butter is also indicated in the treatment of cracked hands, fissures of fingers, and dry hands.

Foot Care Tip! Use a pumice stone or callus shaver to debride the hard, superficial layer of callus prior to applying Natural Moisturizing Callus Butter. Daily, mechanical debridement of the callus followed by application of Natural Moisturizing Callus Butter will decrease the amount of Natural Moisturizing Callus Butter needed (and save you a couple of bucks.)

Question:

I have really dry skin on my feet, could this product help me with that?

Answer:

Dry skin on the feet can be the result of improper hydration, seasonal environment dryness, lack of perspiration or infections of the foot. It would be a good choice for dry cracked feet.

Question:

If I apply this to cracked skin, will it burn?

Answer:

No. Moisturizing Heel Butter is very mild and made of natural ingredients. In our use here at the shop and with customer feedback, we've never had a report of burning.

Question:

Is this just for heels or can I use it like on my hands and fingers?

Answer:

Moisturizing Heel Butter is a very dense softener that wouldn't work particularly well as a general hand softener for the hands. It would be great for problems like fissures around the finger nails or dry fissures on the palm. If you're looking at a general purpose skin softener, you'd be better to go with Myfootshop Healing Cream.

Question:

I read an article in a beauty magazine about skin softeners. The article talked about how it was important to use water based skin lotions to hydrate the skin. You say that there's no water in this? So how does it work?

Answer:

Water based skin softeners will add moisture to the skin in a process called hydration. Hydration is a great way to add moisture but is limited by evaporation. Petroleum based skin softeners (think Vaseline) work by inhibiting evaporation and by trapping moisture under a coating of non-breathable petroleum. Petroleum based products leave the skin greasy. Myfootshop Moisturizing Foot Butter uses non-petroleum products including cocoa butter, beeswax, Vitamin E and Organic Sunflower and Coconut Oils to preserve moisture while still promoting the ability of the skin to breath. We designed Foot Butter specifically as a non-water based, non-greasy, skin softener to treat heavy callus. For a general purpose skin softener, you're right though, you would be better with a water based product.
