Dress Inserts for Hallux Limitus
Leave it to Myfootshop to find another solution for me.  I purchased the Sport version of this insert last year and have always kept an eye on this website for new products.  I see they just came out with a thinner version of the Hallux Trainers.
I find the new dress version of the Hallux Trainer to be of the same quality.  Also, rigidity of what they call a Morton's extension is stiff enough for support yet comfortable.
Glad I made this second purchase and now own both the Sport versions and Dress versions of the Hallux Trainers.

Sport vs Dress
I didn't get to review the Hallux Trainer sport insoles that I purchased first.  They are very good but it takes a while to adjust to the metatarsal pad built into the insole.  Since then I've purchased two pair of the dress insoles but find them not quite as supportive as the sport insoles.  I have a severe case of hallux limitus and would like a little firmer Morton's extension toe plate in each insole.  I have to admit that they do help getting out & about.

Hallux Trainer Sport
I have used the Hallux Trainer Sport Insoles for years with excellent results.  So I just ordered more plus one pair of the Dress Insoles that are described as "thinner" than the Sport.  While the Dress Insoles are more flexible they do not look or feel thinner so I have not used them in dress shoes.  They appear to be high quality.  I really need something thinner than they are.

Hallux Trainer insoles
These insoles are slimmer compared to the regular hallux trainer insoles, and fit in tighter shoes.  They are good quality and black in color so not as noticeable if wearing open back or open toes shoes.  I wear a size 8 shoe and I ordered a size 8 insole.  They fit perfectly but can be trimmed.  I have custom made insoles also for my Morton's toe issue, and I prefer these.

Buyer Beware
These supposed " dress" insoles are so wide, they dud not fit into any of my shoes, even the ones with removable insoles.  After trimming one on both sides, as instructed, it fit into one pair of shoes, but were so thick in the arch, it pushes your foot to the top of shoe and is so painful. The metatarsal pad is like a rock and made my bone spur ache horribly.  The company called will not allow any return , even if one was altered. Unfriendly service. They do not stand by their product. Threw 80$ into the garbage. My Spenco insoles are much better! Disgusting company to deal with.

We cannot accept an altered or trimmed insole back for refund, and did not instruct this customer to do so. We would have happily exchanged it for a smaller size.
