Active ingredient in Biofreeze is Menthol 3.5%. Inactive ingredients include: Camphor (for scent), carbomer, FD&C blue #1, FD&C yellow #5, Glycerine, Herbal Extract (ILEX Paraguariensis), Isopropyl Alcohol, Methylparaben, Propylene Glycol, Silicon Dioxide, Triethanolamine and water. The dyes used in Biofreeze are approved by the FDA for general use in cosmetics and OTC medications.
