These 1/8" thick soft Gel Bunion Shields fits easily into all shoes. The Bunion Shield just slips over the great toe and is held in place by a sock or hose. Gel Bunion Shields are durable and reusable. Gel Bunion Shields can be hand washed in mild detergent and refreshed with talc. This product is latex free. Universal right/left. Care Tip! Bunion pain is due to direct pressure from the shoe or from
mal-alignment of the great toe (or both). The Gel Bunion Shield protects the bunion
from direct pressure from the shoe but does not re-align the great toe.
Many patients who use a Gel Bunion Shield also use a
Large/Firm Toe
Separator in conjunction with the Bunion Shield to re-align the great toe.
