The DARCO® DarcoGel Ankle Brace is recommended for ankle sprains, ankle fractures and lateral ankle instability (weak ankles). The DarcoGel Ankle Brace provides stabilization of the ankle and compression to help control swelling and pain.
The DarcoGel Ankle Brace is one of our favorites for acute ankle sprains and stable ankle fractures. The upper chamber is filled with foam to conform to the ankle and calf while the lower chamber is gel-filled, insuring a custom fit every time. DarcoGel Ankle Brace is perfect for cold therapy. The liner can be removed and placed in the freezer for 2 hours and then reapplied to the brace for an effective cold compress. The brace is 10 inches high. One size fits both right and left. 1/pkg.

for a brace that provides lateral ankle stability or a brace that provides
compression of the ankle for control of swelling? On a scale of 1-5 (1
poor/5 best), we rate the Darco Gel Ankle Brace '3' for control of ankle
instability and '4' for control of ankle swelling. We primarily recommend
the Darco Gel Ankle Brace for acute sprains and not for long term control of
