Biofreeze is a grease-less, stainless, vanishing gel. Its primary use is as a topical pain reliever. Biofreeze is also a great massage medium for sore joints. Rub it in and feel the relief. Biofreeze provides deep penetrating pain relief from the aches and stiffness due to arthritis or acute injuries. Biofreeze also comes in a 16 oz. pump bottle.

Active ingredient is Menthol 3.5%. Inactive Ingredients: Camphor (for scent), carbomer, FD&C blue #1, FD&C yellow #5, Glycerin, Herbal Extract (ILEX Paraguariensis), Isopropyl Alcohol, Methylparaben, Propylene Glycol, Silicon Dioxide, Triethanolamine, Water. The dyes used in Biofreeze are approved by the FDA for general use in cosmetics and OTC medications.  Ilex is an extract from the holly plant and contains many wonderful compounds, similar to Green Tea, that provide antioxidants, amino acids, vitamins, and saponins.

Indications - Biofreeze is used in the treatment of peripheral neuropathy, diabetic peripheral neuropathy, chronic regional pain syndromes, arthritis of the foot and ankle, stress fractures, shin splints, heel pain, heel spur syndrome, arch pain, forefoot pain, plantar fasciitis and post injuries including ankle sprains.
