How long does a pumice stone last? How often will I need to buy one?
Because pumice is a very porous volcanic rock with great abrasive qualities, it will crumble slightly with each use. With regular use, it ought to last at least a year.
I'm not sure if the callus I have is just a callus or maybe also a wart. If it is a wart, is it OK to use the pumice stone on it? Will I cause any problems by doing that?
Pumice stones are a great tool for both. The wart virus hides down within the deep tissue of the wart. So the more that you debride it with a pumice stone, the better your chances are of getting it to go away.
