Shoe repair shops and orthotics labs long have used lateral sole wedges to
limit supination, or the tendency of the foot to roll to the outside of the
shoe. But placing a lateral sole wedge in the outside of the shoe
requires specialized equipment for sewing heavy leather.
Lateral Sole
Wedge Inserts require no sewing
or special instrumentation. Wear these shoe inserts in any shoes and beneath
existing prescription orthotics. The inserts limit supination by placing a
semi-firm valgus wedge under the entire lateral aspect of the foot. Latex-free.
May be trimmed to fit.
