Lighter than a feather and stronger than steel, carbon fiber foot plates are a rigid plate used to stiffen and extend the shank of the shoe. One plate (not a pair), please select left or right.
Contoured carbon graphite spring plates are used to stiffen the sole of the shoe. These contoured plates have a small toe spring to enable forefoot roll-off. The intent is to limit range of motion at the forefoot. Used in podiatry and orthopedic offices for conditions including metatarsal AVN (Freiberg's infarction), forefoot stress fractures and following foot surgery.
Please Note: 1) This is a special order item and may take
10 days to ship. 2) Carbon graphite spring plates should not be modified on a grinder due to the possible production of airborne graphite particles.
If there is a question of sizing, we suggest defaulting to the smaller size. Selecting a larger size
may create fitting issues within shoes.
