Physical therapists, chiropractors and podiatrists use Biofreeze to relieve joint pain, back pain, muscle strain, neck pain, bursitis and diabetic peripheral neuropathy pain. Biofreeze is a greaseless, stainless, vanishing gel
for joint pain. Its primary use is as a topical pain reliever. Biofreeze also
is great as a massage medium for sore joints. Rub it in and feel the relief. The
gel provides deep penetrating pain relief from muscle and joint pain associated
with arthritis, diabetic pain or acute injuries. Also available in a
16 oz. pump bottle.
Active ingredient is Menthol 3.5 percent. Inactive Ingredients: Camphor (for scent), carbomer, FD&C blue #1, FD&C yellow #5,
Glycerin, Herbal Extract (ILEX Paraguariensis), Isopropyl Alcohol, Methylparaben, Propylene Glycol, Silicon Dioxide, Triethanolamine, Water. The dyes used in Biofreeze are approved by the FDA for general use in cosmetics and OTC medications. Ilex is an extract from the holly plant and contains many wonderful compounds, similar to Green Tea, that provide antioxidants, amino acids, vitamins, and saponins.
